The Ends of the Earth

A casual adventure/rpg about a boy who digs a hole.

Embark on an underground journey, meet strange creatures, battle powerful enemies, and discover unique treasures.  Dig, explore, and dig some more until you reach the end of the earth.

--Install Instructions--

Download the .zip file through the link above.  Save the file to desired location.  Extract contents of .zip folder.  Double click on "The Ends of the Earth.exe" to play the game.  A windows popup may warn that the file could harm your computer, click "more info" and "run anyway".

Also downloadable on Android through Google Play Store.

--Quick Guide--

1. Sewers:
-explore area/town for additional items/equipment
-dig to sewers
-tip: use glowsticks while digging, they will still be there when you leave/return to the area
-navigate sewers, defeat boss for exit key
-exit sewers and continue digging

2. Hive:
-navigate through area
-defeat boss for new digging tool
-continue digging

3. Mansion:
-dig until sandstone blocks progress
-travel through forest north of town
-navigate through haunted mansion
-obtain new tool item, defeat boss
-return to sandstone and continue digging

4. Glowshroom caverns:
-dig until darkstone blocks progress
-navigate through nearby cave
-locate Rabba village and Goblin mine
-navigate through Goblin mine, defeat boss
-speak to Rabba Elder for new item/ability
-can now enter cave northeast of Rabba village
-navigate through cave
-exit cave and continue digging

5. Ice layer
-dig until glacier blocks progress
-enter nearby ice fortress
-navigate through ice fortress
-obtain new tool item, defeat boss
-obtain key relic item at west side of boss room
-exit ice fortress and continue digging

6. Volcanic layer
-dig until volcanic rock blocks progress
-locate entrance to nearby cave
-navigate through cave to prehistoric cavern
-navigate through prehistoric cavern to pyramid
-navigate through pyramid
-defeat boss and continue to next room for new tool item
-return to volcanic rock and continue digging

7. Netherrealm
-travel down until river blocks progress
-speak to nearby npc for quest
-locate the required quest items in the area and speak to quest npc to cross river
-continue digging

8. The Core
-continue digging

9. Crystal Kingdom
-speak to npc near lamppost
-speak to npc near crystal palace
-when in prison, wait for npc to appear
-speak to npc, dig up after getting equipment back
-locate entrance to nearby cave which was previously blocked
-navigate through cave
-navigate through crystal palace, defeat boss
-can now exit crystal city and continue digging

10. Goblin Kingdom
-can either continue digging or enter cave near goblin enemies to access goblin kingdom
-navigate through cave to goblin kingdom
-navigate through goblin kingdom to goblin fortress
-navigate through goblin fortress, defeat bosses
-obtain 3 key relic items
-continue digging

11. Terracotta Temple
-navigate through area, defeat boss
-continue digging

12. The end of the Earth
-dig to the end of the earth
-speak to nearby npc for key relic item

13. The Core
-obtain all key artifacts:
-1 in ice temple, left side of boss room
-1 in goblin mines, dig past boss room, search near northeast corner
-3 in goblin fortress, in the last room
-1 at the end of the earth, speak to digging npc
-use an artifact when all 6 are in inventory to obtain a new digging tool
-use tool to dig to the Core
-navigate through final area, defeat boss
